The Future We Aim for
CellSeed aims to spread the use of "cell sheet regenerative medicine", a regenerative medical approach to cure diseases and disorders that cannot be cured by conventional treatments, around the world using "cell sheet engineering", a fundamental technology originating in Japan, and "cell sheets" created based on this technology.

CellSeed's Business Model
Regenerative medicine is a new type of medicine that regenerates and treats lost, damaged, or dysfunctional organs. CellSeed aims to contribute to medical treatment not only in Japan but also in the world by commercializing regenerative medicine products based on the results of research and development by university professors through clinical trials conducted by us or our partner companies.
Cell Sheet Engineering
This is a technology to collect cells in sheet form using temperature-responsive cell culture equipment. Cell sheets created with this technology are expected to enable the treatment of diseases that have been difficult to treat with conventional medicine.
Nano-Bio Interface
The surface of our product UpCell® is composed of poly-N-isopropylacrylamide (PIPAAm) uniformly immobilized at the nanometer level.
Temperature-Responsive Polymers
Our cell culture materials are made of temperature-responsive polymers that can recover sheets of cultured cells without enzymatic treatment by changing the temperature.
