Aqua Way Cation
Aqua Way Cation
Thermally modulated cationic HPLC column
  • 100% aqueous solution!
  • Control the strength of the positive charge by column temperature.
  • Suitable for separation of anionic biomolecules such as nucleotide (ATP, ADP and AMP).
  • Albumin can also be separated under 100% aqueous conditions.

Key features of Aqua Way Cation

  • Cationic temperature-responsive polymer (PIPAAm) is synthesized and grafted onto aminopropyl silica.
  • The surfaces of the grafted silica show charge properties at lower temperature and, as temperature increases, transform to uncharged properties.
  • Separation selectivity and retention are controlled by controlling column temperature. Higher the temperature, the shorter the retention time.
